Stephanie Briggs, fromStratford-upon-Avon, was delighted when she found out she was the lucky winner of a lesson with Piggy French, courtesy of Equissage.
Riding Tosh, a six-year-old ID X TB gelding, Stephanie competes in unaffiliated dressage and has a tendency to be a bit lazy so Stephanie spent the lesson working with Piggy on improving impulsion and sharpening his transitions.
Said Piggy: “Tosh has very nice movement but is a big horse and Stephanie is working a lot harder than she should be. Tosh needs to help her more and stop being lazy.
Tosh was a star and by the end of the lesson had produced his best ever canter. Stephanie was so pleased with their progress and described Piggy as a miracle worker!
Stephanie and her friend Emma, who had come along to help with Tosh, then enjoyed a tour of the yard and got the chance to meet Piggy’s eventing superstars.
