Capped hock, elbows and knees are all bursal injuries and result from a direct trauma to the area.
E.g. A horse may knock its knee whilst jumping. The result is swelling caused by the production of excess synovial fluid.
Can Equissage help with Capped hock?
Yes.
Any build up of synovial fluid can be successfully treated with Equissage. Although unsightly, such ‘blemishes’ are unlikely to cause unsoundness and Equissage can do much to reduce their appearance.
