Marlborough rider Chloe Ammonds-Nutt recently enjoyed a lesson with top event rider William Fox-Pitt thanks to one of his sponsors Equissage.

Marlborough rider Chloe Ammonds-Nutt recently enjoyed a lesson with top event rider William Fox-Pitt thanks to one of his sponsors Equissage.

Chloe from Collingbourne near Marlborough in Wiltshire travelled to William’s yard for the lesson to help improve her flatwork and jumping with her horse The Flying Flump (Rex).

The lesson concentrated on circles, leg yielding and half halts whilst maintaining a steady rhythm and instilling confidence. One of the problem areas for Rex was canter which William concentrated on for a while.

The pair then tackled a course of five jumps emphasising the need to prepare between fences.

Said Chloe: “I enjoyed the lesson and William made me take control and make Rex do what said rather than take him for granted. I think we got quicker results.”
